the thirteenth year of his Said present Majesty's reign to
which session the consideration of the Said presentment was
adjorned did upon reading the Said presentment and on
consideration had of the Same make an Order and also a
Rate or Assessment upon every Town, parish & place in the
Said County for raiseing the Sum of eight hundred pounds
to repair or rebuild the said Bridges and to answer the other
ends & purposes mentioned in an Act of parliament made in
the twelfth year of his Said Majesty's reign, Intituled, An Act for
the more easy assessing collecting and levying of County Rates,
And whereas it appeareth to this Court at this present Session that
the Said Bridge called Brentford Bridge hath not been yet
rebuilt, And that three fourths of the money collected by
vertue of the Said Rate have been expended to answer the
ends & purposes mentioned in the Said Act, Which Rate is the
last preceding Rate made upon the Towns, parishes, & places
in the Said County for raiseing money for the ends & purposes
mentioned in the Said aforesaid Act, And whereas a
presentment is made unto this Court at this present Session

& lawfull Men of the County of Middx Jurors for our Lord the
King Sworn & charged at this present Session to Inquire for
our Said Lord the King for the Body of the Said County, By which
presentment the Said Jurors do Certify that they having
examined Several credible persons upon Oath it appeareth
unto them the Said Jurors And they do accordingly upon
their Oath present that a publick Bridge called Brentford
Bridge in the County aforesaid (which hath been
heretofore usually rebuilt repaired & maintained at the
charge of the Inhabitants of the Said County) is very much
out of repair, And that it is necessary that the Said Bridge be
forthwith rebuilt, And that Such part of another publick
Bridge called Chertsea Bridge as is in the Same County
(which part of the Same Bridge hath been heretofore
usually rebuilt repaired & maintained at the charge of
the Inhabitants of the Said County) is also very much out
of repair And that it is necessary that the aforesaid part of
the Same Bridge should be also forthwith repaired or rebuilt,
