It appearing to this Court by a Report of the right honble.

Justices of the peace
of this County being a Quorum of
the Committee appointed by order of Court to inquire
touching what money was contributed by Justices
of the peace of the Said County and touching Such
Justices as refused to contribute to defray the expence
in & about makeing the - defence to the allegations
contained in the Petition of complaint which was
preferred to the honble. House of Commons
agianst
the Justices of the peace
of the Said County, That there
is remaining in the hands of Mr.
John Higgs< no role >
, (who
received the contribution money of Such as

contributed towards defraying the Said expence)
after a deduction of the Sums of money mentioned
in the Said Report to be paid or directed to be paid by
him to the persons therein named on account of
making the Said defence the Sum of Six pounds &
eleven Shillings, It is Ordered by this Court that the
Sum of five pounds, & five Shillings part there of be
forthwith paid by the Said Mr. Higgs unto Mr.
Joseph

Majestys Justices of the peace
for the Said County as a
further gratuity for the Services done by the Said
Mr. Porter in writing and transcribing a great
Number of Accounts which were produced on behalf
of the Justices of the peace
of this County upon their
defence before a Committee of the Said honble. House,
and for his attending the Said Committee upon
the defence aforesaid, And the receipt of the Said
Mr. Porter together with this Order Shall be a
Sufficient discharge to the Said Mr. Higgs for such
payment.
