County as Shall think fitt to be present or any three or
more of them as a Comittee to meet the Comittee of the
Trustees of Islington Turnpike at Hicks Hall in St. John Street
in this County on Saturday the twentieth day of December
last at ten of the Clock in the forenoon & Such other times
as they Shall appoint and to Enquire and inform
themselves by Such ways & means as Shall be legal
how the powers of the Acts of Parliament for repairing
the Islington Turnpike roads have been executed in
relation to the Statute work, what Statute work the
Parishes are liable to do on the Said Roads, & what
Statute work they did thereon before the Comencement
of the Said Acts, & what Since, And to make report
touching the premisses to the Court of General Quarter
or General Sessions of the peace to be holden for this
County.

Your Comittee pursuant to the above Delegated
Power have Enquired & informed themselves how the
powers of the Said Acts have been Executed in relation
to the Statute work and have Comprized the facts
under the following heads in the Respective
Parishes Vizt.

The No. of Teames & Labourers of the Total
Parishes liable to do Six Days Statute work.

The Measurements of the Roads of each
respective Parish within the Limits of the Turnpike.

How the Parishes repaired the Said Roads before
the Comencement of the Turnpike Act.

What the annual Charge the Trustees are at in
repairing the said Roads.

What Statute work done or Composition the
Parishes have paid Since the Comencement of the
Turnpike Act.

What Arrears of the Several Parishes for
Composition in lieu of their Statute work.

And lastly a remark how the Parishes have
the Laws in relation to the Highways now executed.

Which accot. of the Several Parishes haveunder
the aforesaid Several & respective heads marked No.1 is
hereunto Annexed & all the facts have been proved to
your Comittee either by the Trustees, the Books of
Islington Turnpike or by the Oathes of Several persons.

Your Comittee is Surprised at the Arrears as also
the Opposition of Some parishes to prevent the Trustees
for putting the Said Acts in Execution by not doing
