which Petty Sessions the Justices in each of the Said
Divisions are desired forthwith to appoint, and to hold
Some day before the end of October instant, And the Said
Justices of the peace in each of the Said Divisions are
hereby desired (after their haveing reced from the
Petty Constables in their Division an account in
writing of the Christian Names and Surnames of Such
persons who Sell Geneva, Brandy or other distilled
Spirituous liquors by retail and of the Streets, Lanes,
Alleys & places wherein their houses, Shops Shedds or
chambers are Scituate) to transmitt Such account to the
Said Committee at Hicks hall aforesaid on the Said
first day of November next at ten of the clock in the
forenoon together with an account in writing of the
Number of Such houses, Shops, Shedds & chambers To the
intent that Such Representation may be drawnat the
up or Such further directions given touching the
premisses as the Court of the next General Sessions or
other ensueing Sessions of the peace for this County Shall
think fit, And the high Constable of each of the Said
Divisions is to give notice of this Order and of the time
& place of holding the Said Petty Sessions to the Several
Justices of the peace residing or acting in his Division,
And all high & Petty Constables are hereby
required to observe & perform Such Orders precepts
or Directions as Shall be given by or by the Order of
the Justices of the peace of this County or any of them
touching the premisses, And the Said Commitee are
desired to make use of all proper & legal powers as
they Shall think proper for the more effectual
proceeding in the matters aforesaid.
