Creswell Keeper of the
House of Correction at
Clerkenwell to attend
the Court at the next
Sessions}

It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. Peter Creswell< no role > Keeper of
the House of Correction at Clerkenwell in this County do
attend the Court of the next General Sessions of the peace
to be holden for this County by adjornment on
Thursday the twenty eighth day of August next at one
of the Clerk in the afternoon concerning the Escapes of
Prisoners out of the Said House of Correction or other
matters relating to his Office of Keeper

attend the Court at the
next Sessions}

It is Ordered by this Court that Elizabeth James< no role > formerly
called Elizabeth Boreman< no role > Matron of the House of
Correction at Clerkenwell in this County doe attend the
Court of the next General Sessions of the peace to be
holden for this County by Adjornment on Thursday the
twenty eighth day of [..] August next at one of the
clock in the afternoon to answer what may be
objected against her for not performing her Duty of
Matron at the House of Correction aforesaid.

of the House of Correction
for two quarters Salary
and that no more of
her Salary be paid to
her untill further

Whereas Mr. Thomas Cavenagh< no role > Keeper of New
Prison at Clerkenwell in this County is by the tenor
of his Appointment to be Keeper of the Said Prison to
pay unto the Matron of the House of Correction at
Clerkenwell in the Said County for the time being a
Salary of ten pounds a year for her Service as Matron
of the Said House of Correction by quarterly payments,
And Elizabeth James< no role > formerly called Elizabeth
Boreman Matron
< no role > of the Said House informing this
Court that the Sum of five pounds is due to her for her
Said Salary for two quarters of a yeare, and that the
Said Thomas Cavenagh< no role > refuseth to pay her the Same,
And the Said Thomas Cavenagh< no role > praying to be
discharged from payment thereof alledging that the
