which they have not yet been able to obtain, And the
said George Palmer< no role > & Silas Palmer< no role > praying that this Court
will be pleased to Order that the Said Sum may be paid
unto them, It is Ordered by this Court that a letter be written
by Mr. John Higgs< no role > General Treasurer of this County to the
Said Mr. Barker to desire him to pay to them the Same, And in
case of his non payment thereof It is further Ordered by
this Court that the Said Mr. Higgs doe out of the publick
money in his hands pay the Said Sum of Six pounds
fifteen Shillings & eight pence unto the Said George Palmer< no role >
& Silas Palmer< no role > or one of them in full of all their demands
against this County as Administrators to their Said late
Brother, And that the receipt of them or one of them
together with this Order Shall be a Sufficient discharge to
the Said Mr. Higgs for Such payment.

passing & releiving of
Vagrants, a Cerciorari
being brought for
removeing the Said
Order & Rate into the
Court of King's Bench }

Whereas an Order and a Rate therein Specifyed was
made by his Maties Justices of the peace for the County of
Middx assembled at the General Quarter Sessions of the
peace holden for the Said County in the Month of April One
thousand Seven hundred and thirty four upon the
Several parishes & places in the Same County for raiseing
of moneys to defray the expences of passing & releiving
of Vagrants, And whereas a writt of Cerciorari was left
with the Clerk of the peace of the Said County in Easter Terme
now last past retornable immediatly in the Same Terme
for removeing the Said Order & Rate into his Maties Court
of King's Bench at Westminster , which writt this Court is
well Satisfyed was applyed for & obtained by Some
litigious person or persons meerly for vexation, And this
Court being of opinion that proper meanes Should be
made use of to Support the Order & Rate above mentioned
Doth Order that Mr. John Higgs< no role > doe make a defence and
use Such proper & legal methods as Shall be requisite &
necessary to Support & maintain the Order & Rate
aforesaid, And that he be allowed the charges & expences
thereof.
