and doth ratify and confirm the same, and the said Report
is hereby ratifyed and confirmed accordingly.

prosecute offenders
charged for felonys or
other capital offences) to
be bound by Recogn to
preferr their Judictmts.
at the sessions of peace
for Middx Etc.}

Informacon having been given to the Court of the last general
Sessions of the peace holden for this County by adjornmt. or Thursday
the ninth day of December last That persons apprehended for
felonys or other capital offences done within the Liberty of Westmr.
in this County and comitted between the time of holding a
General Quarter Sessions & the time of holding a General Sessions
of the peace for this County by Justices of peace residing within
the said Liberty to the Gatehouse prison Westminster may escape
a legal trial for Such felonys or capital Offernes by reason that
Same Justices may bind the prosecutors by Recoginzance to
appeare & prosecute the persons so comitted at the Quarter
sessions of the peace for the Liberty of Westminster next after
such comittment whereas Such persons being in the mean
time carryed to the Goal of Newgate (pursuant to an Order
of [..] Goal Delivery formerly made in that behalf
requiring the Keeper of the Gatehouse to carry Such Offenders
to the Goal of Newgate Six days before the beginning of each
sessions of Goal Delivery) may be delivered by proclamacon
at the [..] intervening Sessions of Goal Delivery for want
of an Indictment being found and certifyed to the Same
sessions of Goal Delivery, And in case the prosecutor Should
prosecute at Such intervening sessions as aforesaid his
Recoginzauce for this appearing & prosecuting at the
ensueing Quarter sessions for Westminster may stand
forfeited and be estreated for his not appearing & prosecuting
there, whereby Such prosecutor would be very ninth
aggreived & oppressed, And that an instance of this find
had already lately happened, which the said Court did
deem to be a great greivance, And in Order to prevent as
well the inconveinencys as the greivances aforesaid for
the future, It was Ordered by the said Court that the aforesaid
matters Should be taken into consideracon on this
present Thursday the thirteenth day of January instant
