to him the Said Mr. Smiths receipt for the Said Sume) be
and he is hereby desired to pay unto the Said Richard
Wilson the Sume of Six pounds eleven Shillings and
nine pence above menconed in full payment and
Satisfaccon of the moneys due to him as aforesaid
whose receipt together with this order Shall be a
Sufficient discharge to the Said Mr. Cotesworth for Such
payment.

Order for enlargeing
the time for takeing
a view of Brentford
Bridge Etc}

It is Ordered by this Court that the time limited by an Order
made at the last Generall Sessions of the peace holden
for this County by adjornment on Thursday the twenty
eight day of August last for the Committee of his Maties.
Justices of the peace for this County therein named to take
a view of a publick Bridge called Brentford Bridge in
this County, and to See if any and what repaires are
wanting & necessary to be done thereto, and to do other
matters therein menconed and to make their Report
in writing touching the premisses unto this Court, be
enlarged untill the next Generall Quarter Sessions of
the peace for this County.

Order for Justices of
peace in their
respective Divisions
not to grant licences
to persons keeping
Chandlers Shops, to
Sell Brandy, Strong
waters, or distilled
liquors Etc.}

This Court being of opinion that persons keeping
Chandlers Shops in the respective Divisions in this County
ought not to have licences granted unto them for the
Selling of Brandy, Strong waters or distilled liquors by
retail, Inasmuch as a great many Servants, Apprentices
and other persons are drawn in and inviegled by the
Keepers of such Chandlers Shops to drink their Strong
waters and distilled liquors, whereby the Said Servants
apprentices and other persons became intoxicated and
disordered and uncapable of performing the busyness
