and what new paveing and repaires had been by
him done at the said house of Correction , and what
he had expended on attempt thereof, and whether
the same were necessary or not And that they
mett together at the said house of Correction , and
found in custody of the said Keeper Forty Six
Blocks, Forty Six Beetles Twelve pair of
Irons Basills and Rivetts, and Twenty One
pair of Handcuffs and Keys, part whereof
coft him twenty four pounds or thereabouts
And that the said Keeper hath caused Two
hundred Seventy Seven Yards of Pavement to
be made in the Yard belonging to the said house
of Correction, which together with Stone and
Gravell provided by him amount to the Value of
Sixteen pounds, And that the said Keeper hath
expended for Wainscotting, painting, deal Shelves,
partitions and for making a Widow backward at the
said house of Correction about the Sume of twenty
pounds, and for burials of Convicts comitted to
his custody and maintenance and burials of
bastard Children the Sume of eight pounds and
twelve Shillings, which several Sumes amount in
the whole to the Sume of Sixty eight pounds and
twelve Shillings, And that it will be necessary
to have a shedd built in the yard belonging to
the said house of Correction for taking in of
Hemp and keeping the same day which as they
compute will cost about Sixteen pounds And the
said Justices of the peace submitted to the
Judgment of this Court what consideration they
