Whereas upon reading the humble Petition of Giles
Quinny Governour of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell
in this County exhibited unto his Majestys Justices of
the Peace at the Generall Quarter Sessions of the
Peace holden for the Said County by adjornment on
the tenth day of July last Setting forth that the Peticoner
Since his being elected and appointed Governour or
Keeper of the Said house of Correction hath bought
provided and paid for Several blocks and beatells
to Sett the Convicts (which have been at Severall
times Sent unto him from the Sessions at the old
Bayley) at work, and Irons to Secure them as the
Law in that Case requires, and also hath disbursed
Several Sumes of money for the paveing and
materials used in paving the Yard belonging to the
Said house of Correction, and that a particular
accompt of the Charge and disbursments thereof
was Setforth in a paper annexed to the Said
Petition, And the Petitioner praying that the Court
would be pleased to Order that he might be
reimbursed the moneys he hath paid for the Said
Blocks Beatells and Irons, and the money he
hath expended in paveing of the Said Yard
It was by Order made at the Same Quarter Sessions
