Kings Court where the Admiralty and other Speciall Comission
(not particularly relating to the County or City) Doe sitt
and Determine

Which says that the Clerk of the peace Under sheriff and other
Officers of the County cannot demand a right to Sitt in any
particular place of the Court but where assigned, is true, for all
Courts may order and alter places for their Officers as they
think convenient

Which says that the Justices of the County are obliged to attend the
Court and have had the East side reserved for them & have
not complained of any uneasiness The Justices do say
that the East side of the Court is often filled with
Strangers (without asking their leave) and no Room for
them to Sitt, When the Aldermen on the West side have
full Room and Sitt at ease (no Strangers being admitted
there without lease given)

Which says that seldom (if ever) but some of the Justices
are at the old Baily so that their Bretheren cannot be
Supposed to be unacquainted with what passes there
The Justices do say that as soon as they have returned &
proved their Examinations they do usually goe away
having no more Business there Whereas had they some
of their body in that Comision It would be their duty
to attend and transmit to the Justices of the peace the
Judges directions and other matters happening there

Which says that no Delay of Justice hath happened or ca [..]
be probable or presumed for want of a Sufficient Number
to carry on the business of the Comission of Goal
Delivery The Justices are informed that it hath
often fell out, that with difficulty a Quorm
hath been gotten especially towards the end of the
Sessions.
