indicted for that they after the issuing and publishing
a certain Proclamation of our said Lord the King
made by our said Lord the King under the Great Seal
of Great Britain
whereby our said Lord the King
did (amongst other things) strictly prohibit and
forbid all Masters of Ships, Pilots, Mariners, Seamen
Shipwrights and other Sea faring men whatsoever being
the Natural born Subjects of our said Lord the King
from entering and did charge and command them and
every of them from thenceforth to forbear to enter
themselves into the pay or Service of any Foreign Prisoner
or State or to serve in any Foreign Ship or Vessel whatsoever
without the special licence of our said Lord the King
first had and obtained in that behalf, to wit, on the
first day of July in the twenty eighth year aforesaid at
the Parish of Saint Botolph without Bishopsgate
in the
Ward of Bishopsgate
