undercharged before
me for Felony who being on Oath saith that he
lived as a Servant
with Messrs. Pack & Lewis
Oilmen in Thames Street
for near Eleven Months
and saith that about two Months ago
Simon Cozoni< no role >
one of the Prisoners
[..] under examination
applyed for some capers at his sd. Masters Shop
& on paying for them gave examinant four
himself six pence, after which time the said
Cozini when he came for Goods insisted on
examinant giving him particular Articles
or he wod. inform his Masters that he had
taken a bribe from him the sd. Cozini in
order to Cheat them, & saith that he had
two

& frequently quantities of Capers, at least
nine or ten times, and to the best of Examinants
Knowledge about three to five Pounds each
time for wch. the gave about two pence a pound and further saith that the other
Prisoner

now also under
examination received from examinant
at different times quantities of Capers
about three pounds each time also two
barrels of Anchovies at different times,
And saith that he received from Bush
three Shillings for each Barrel of
anchovies and about two pence a pound
for the Capers, And Saith that
John Basing< no role >
the other Prisoner
& fellow Servant
with
Examinant he, examinant cannot charge
with his being privy to the above transactions
altogether, but is certain that he has seen
examinant give them
theGoods at different
times, & saith that he gave the said Basing
at one time two Shillings, but never any
other money, & saith that the money arising from
the above Goods examinant applied to his own
use
