Master of his Majesty's Ship the Eagle that he Knows
Philip Murphy< no role > now present who came on Board said
Ship for the first time in Madras Road in January or
February 1780 but on the seventh of March 1779 said
Philip Murphy< no role > was not on board said Ship to his
Knowledge and that no other Person but those named
in the Ships Books [..] was on board except the Ships
Pilot And the said John Gale< no role > for himself says that
he repaired a Seamans Will Plate for Messrs. Mount
and Page Stationers of Tower Hill in April 1783
resembling the Plate now produced And further says
he believes that the Will in question now produced
was printed flow the Plate now Produced since it
was repaired [..]
And the said JohnJames< no role > Davidson for himself says
that a Seamans Will Plate belonging to said
Mount and Page was repaired in April 1783 by
said John Gale< no role > that forthirtytwenty Years last Past Mr.
John March< no role > is the only Printer that hath been
employed by said Mount and Page to Print,
Seamans Wills And the said Walter Barry< no role > for
himself says that he was Servant to Mount and
Page in 1783 that there is and Entry in this Informant
hand Writing in a Book called the Petty bought
Book belonging to said Mount and Page of One
Pound one Shilling for repairing a Seamans Will
Plate to Mr. John Gale< no role > And the said John March< no role >
for himself says that he prints for said Mount
and Page that he hath printed from the Copper
Plate
