Robert Kimber< no role > was Committed on his Confession for
receiving sd. Goods Knowing them to be stolen.

William Ann< no role > and was also Committed for receiving same
Goods knowing them to be stolen.

Upon Examining the Witnesses for the Prosecution
it appears that the Confessions made by Langford & Kimber
were obtained under Promice of favour. and therefore neither
of those Conviction's can be given in Evidence against them

Upon Search made at Annands Rosue large
Quantities of Goods belonging to the Procecutor were found.
and Kimber Confessed that such Goods were received by him of
Langford and sold to Annand.

The procecutor hath been adviced that he Cannot
carry on the procecution agt. Langford the Principal a Annand the
Receiver without making Use of Kimber as an Evidence and
there are many Circumstances which can be proved to confirm
the Evidence of Kimber.

Therefore pleace to move that the prosr. may be at liberty
