some Things to be sold up Stairs. That said Harding
Vanes and this Examt. went together into the back
Room up one pair of Stairs where a quantity of
Linen [..] scatter'd about That he purchased
the same from said Harding and Vanes for
£3.13.6 which consisted of Eight Sheets six
Table Cloths and four blew and white bed Curtains
that he tied them up in one of the table Cloths
brought them down Stairs and desired said
Burket to take Care of them till he came for
them. That he then laid the Money upon the
Table which said Harding and Spot divided
between them. That on Saturday the 24 Novemr
last he agreed with said Vanes for the Girandole
now produced which was then at said Burket's
House and paid him 9/ for it.

That on Saturday Evening last between 8 & 9
o'Clock said Holden came to this Examinants
Shop and ask'd him if any Body had been there
and being answer'd in the negative he then desired
him to go to said Burket's which he did. That
when He came there said Higgins desired him
to go up Stairs which he did and was followed
by said Higgins, Grosse, Holden and Grace
Mattocks. That they went into the one pair
of Stairs back Room together, and Holden
ask'd him if he would buy some Sheets and
Table Cloths that he said Yes. and they then produc'd
a black Linen Bag certaining 7 table Cloths
seven Sheets 5. Napkins and one white Cotton
Counterpane and other trifling Things which Holden emptied upon the
Floor, and he bought them all for 3 Guineas
which he paid to Grosse. That said Grosse said
