Maketh Oath and saith that in the Month of October one
thousand seven hundred and eighty six he this Deponent on Account of
his ill State of Health slept at Islington
in the County of Middlesex
and this Deponent further saith that a summons was as this Deponent
hath been informed and beleives left at this Deponents House for this
Deponent to attend at the
Session
Guildhall
of the said City of London
to
serve as a Juror at the Session of the peace holden for the said City in the
said Month of October but his Deponent saith that he was not informed
of the said Summons having been left at this Deponents have nor did this
Deponent see the said Summons until the day after the time mentioned
therein for this Deponent to attend as aforesaid And this Deponent
further saith that he had not given any Orders to any of his Servants
to keep the said Summons and nd discover the same to this Deponent
but this Deponent saith he beleives that his not having seen the said
Summons until the time aforesaid was aving to an involuntary
Mistake of some of this Deponents Servants And this Deponent further
saith that he was during the said Session in the said Month of
October in so bad a state of Health as to be unable to attend as
a Juror at the said Session without Manifest danger to this Deponents
Life.
