Taken this 25th day of August 1787
Saith that on the Fourth of August Last about Nine oClock
at Night between Islington
and Newington Turnpike
he
was attacked by three Men one of where is the Prisoner

that they sayd nothing to him that this
Prisoner Knocked him down with a Shop and one of the
other Men cut him on the left Leg with a Cutlass
that there was taken from him a half Guinea in Gold
and a Silk Handkerchief that he was very much beat by
them before they left that he does not know which of
the men took the Money and Handkerchief from him
does not know that he ever before says either of the
Men that robbed him except the sd nooner who he might
have seen in the Twice
