The Information of James Rogerson< no role > of Golden Ancher
Copperace Row Saint James's Clerkenwell in
the County of Middlesex Glasscutter Taken this 1st
day of September 1787

Saith has known the Prisoner John Edington< no role > about three years
that he met him on Saturday last in the Fleetmarket in Company
with John Darby< no role > that they were at the Harrow drinking of a
Pint of Beer between Nine and ten o'Clock at Night that
Darby say'd that he was going home to Fetch his Linnen
and asked Informant and the Prisoner John Edington< no role > to go
with him that they agreed to go with him and went to Cheapside
and into a Street leading from thence which he believes to be
Gutter Lane that Darby went to the House of Mr James
Deans which he unlocked and went in, that he procured a
light from the Watchman and called to Informant and Edington
Darby to come to him which they accordingly did and went
into the Warehouse that Darby asked Informant to take some Bundles which
he had then removed from the Window which he refused to do
that he then offered them to the Prisoner [..] Edington who
recused them that he then took some other small Parceles from the
same Plan which he put into his Pocket that they then went out
of the Warehouse and Darby locked the Door that they then went to
the Prisoner Edington's Lodgings at the Articloak in Fleet Markett
where the Parcels taken from Mr Deans Warehouse were opened
