of Allen Street Goswell Street Labourer
taken before me this 26th. day of October
1786 .

Who being on Oath saith that he knows
Joseph Thompson< no role > now in Newgate and William
Thompson now present. That on or about the last
day of August he saw said Joseph William< no role >
Thompson at the Lodging of said William
at No. 7 Lambeth still and that they then told
him they were going out that Night towards
Paddington , by which to understood they meant
to break open a House there it being a phrase
they always make use of to express that
Meaning That two days afterwards he saw
them again at the same Place when they told
thin they had broke open a Lodges House in St. Georges
Row on the Night they had mentioned to him
their Intention to go out, and that they eat some
cold Lamb or Mutton after they found in
the House after they got in that they stole
therein a Quarterly of rates to the Value of about Ten
Pounds which they had sold to Joseph Ephraim
of off Alley . That they had also stole some
painted G [..] which they then produced to this
Informant and gave him one of the Pieces to
bring to said Ephraim, which he accordingly
did.
