Maketh oath and Saith that
the said James Kingston< no role >
on account of some very important
business happening in America
in which he was considerably
interested was obliged and did on the ninth or tenth Day of June One
thousand seven hundred and Eighty five sett off for America
as
this Deponent [..] has been informed and verily believes And this
Deponent further saith that the said James Kingston< no role >
has remained
in America
and in the West Indies
ever since and is at this time in
Jamaica as this [..] Deponent has been informed and which
information this Deponent believes to be true And this Deponent [..]
further saith that in or about the Month of May last past
a Summons was left at the House of the said James Kingston< no role >
requiring him to attend as a Juryman at the Quarter Sessions
then to be holden at Guildhall
London
and to which Summons
this Deponent verily believes he would have Attended had he not
been absent from England
