SIR, LONDON, June 17, 1786.
I HEREWITH send you the Clauses in Two Bills now depending
in Parliament, which it is expected will be passed soon enough
to have their First Operation take place at the next Midsummer Quar-
ter Sessions:And as it is intended that I should transmit the Acts
and Schedules to you, in order to be distributed pursuant to the
Directions therein contained, I must entreat the Favour of you to
inform me as soon as possible, by Letter directed to meunder
Cover to Thomas Gilbert< no role > Esqr . Queen-Street, Westminster
at the House of
Commons.

What Number of acting Justices? 276
What Number of High Constables , or Persons acting as such? 2
What Number of Town Clerks, or other proper Officers acting 2
as such, described in the Clauses?
What Number of Parishes? And also, 137
What Number of Township or Places which maintain their
Poor Separate from the Parish at large?are there, as
near as you can compute the same, within your{Here,
described the County, Ridings, [..] as the Case shall be.
