Second Day of March 1786

Saith that he has kept the Horse. Shoe about
five years. That Haslam has frequented his House about
Two Years, and the said Haslam
used to lodge in Noble Street
That the said Haslam has been in Company with Morris,
Flinn, Shipley, Gould, Humston, Kent, and Rogers, and that
they used to meet three or four Times a Day. That he has
seen the said Rogers associate with the said Haslam, Morris, Flinn
Shipley, Gould, Humston and Kent for the Space of a Fort-
-night, and that he this Examinant has seen the said
Rogers taking Parcels thro' the yard, and that the said Rogers
has (brought Parcels, under his Arm to the Tap Room in
this Examinant's Houses, but that he this Examinant
does not recollect the Letter now produced, neither does he this
Examinant know the Hand Writing therein. That
Sixteen Members Raffled for a House at this Examinant
Houses, some of whom were Clerks, and creditable Persons,
others of them were porters, but that he this Examinant
not certain whether the said Rogers and Morris were the
or not, That the said Haslam and Gould were then of the
Number. That Gallant often frequented this Examinants
House and that this Examinant's Wife
for bad him the
House because she entertained a bad Opinion of him and
his Companions they being out of employ and having
us Money to lay out for Liquor, That the said Gallant made
