see the said Rogers having been sent for by him and for
whom Examinant took a Shirt, and that Morris and Newton
went with him this Examinant from the Bell to the prison
That he this Examinant had no Conversation with the
said Roger in the Prison, nor did he this Examinant call
again. That he this Examinant heard at the Bell that the said Roger
was come to the Compter. That on Last Sunday he this
Examinant breakfasted atand went from
thence to the Extent of Half a Mile on Finchley Common
but returned to Highgate about Noon of the same Day and
went from theme to Hampstead
and stopped at the Red
Lyon
there and deced in Company with Two or three
Strange Gentlemen after Staying there about Two Hours he this
Examinant returned to London without stopping any where
till he came to the Kings Arms on Holborn Shill, at which
Place he had a Pint of Porter and stayed there about are
Hour but saw no Person that he knew, That about Seven
or Eight O'Clock in the Afternoon he this Examinant called
at his Lodging and went from thence to the Coopers Arms, and
called for Glass of Rasberry, then returned Home, without
enquiring if any Body had been there to ask for him this
Examinant, That he this Examinant never employed any
Attorney
on Behalf of the said Roger nor did he this Exami-
-nant give the said Rogers at the Prison
aforesaid any Money
nor was there any Money given to him by the said Morris
and Newton to his Knowledge.
