resembling a Letter in the said Edwins Hand which was
delivered to him by the said Hannah Mullens< no role > and the same
by him the said Edwin read over to the said Hannah Mullens< no role >
and that the said Edwin, Hannah Mullens< no role > and a Man who
was a Stranger to this Examinant were at the Time of the said
Letter's being so read in the furthers Box in the Room to the
best of this Examinant's Recollection. That the said Edwin
sayd it would be of Service to the said Hannah Mullens< no role > if
he this Examinant would appear before the Magistrate and
say that he this Examinant had seen the Letter opened
That he this Examinant replied he did not like to bring
himself into Trouble the he should like to be of Service the

nor could he this Examinant be detained long. That he this

got that Will meaning the Will in Question, and that the
Man she got the same Will from could not be found, and
that if he (Patterson) would go with her the said Hannah

the Seafaring Line and been used to Indice she could
got Payment, and that she would pay him Patterson
for his Trouble. That he this Examinant then
asked
