Robert Charlton< no role > in the said Action on or about the Eleventh of
July one Thousand seven Hundred and Eighty One against the
said Defendants for his the said Robert Charltons Damages
and Costs making together the Sum of One Thousand and
Twenty Nine Pounds, Ten Shillings and which said Judgment
now remains entered up of record in the said Court And
this Deponent further saith That the then Lord Mayor and
others his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said City
in Sessions assembled did soon after (by force and Virtue
of the Several Acts of parliament enabling them in that
Behalf) duly make their Order or Orders of Sessions and
Issue The proper precept and precepts for raising levying
And collecting on the Inhabitants at large of the said
City of London the said Sum of One Thousand and Twenty
Nine Pounds Ten Shillings to be paid to the said Robert
Charlton for his Damages and Costs according to the
Directions of the said several Acts of parliament and that
Rates being made on the Inhabitants the Monies thereby
Assessed and collected were (as This Deponent was informed
and verily believes) by the Collectors paid into the Chamber
of the said City of London ; but such Rates ad Collections
turned out insufficient for paying the said Robert Charlton< no role >
the whole of his said Damages and Costs, for that the Monies
Raised and collected for the said Robert Charlton< no role > and Paid
into the said Chamber of London did but Amount to the
Sum of One Thousand and Eleven Pounds, nineteen Shillings
and four Pence whereby the same was deficient for
discharging the said Robert Charlton< no role > 's Damages
and Costs by the Sum of Seventeen Pounds Ten Shillings
