Henry Bell< no role > of Gray's Inn in the County of Midlesex
Gentleman and the Attorney for Thomas Langdale< no role > of Holborn in the
City of London Distiller maketh Oath and saith That he this
Deponent did in or about Michaelmas Term One Thousand seven
Hundred and Eighty commence and prosecute an Action for the
said Thomas Langdale< no role > in the Court of Kings Bench at Westmins:
:ter against Brackley Kennett Thomas Wright< no role > and Even Pugh< no role >
Esquires , Three of the Inhabitants of the said City of London for
the recovery of the Damages sustained by him the said Thomas
Langdale on the seventh of June one Thousand seven Hundred
and Eighty by the Rioters Pulling down, and demolishing his
the said Thomas Langdale< no role > 's Dwelling House and other Buildings
and his Household Goods and Furniture therein. And this
Deponent Further saith that such Action came on to be, and was
tried before Mr. Justice Buller and a Special Jury at the Sitting
after Hilary Term One Thousand seven Hundred and Eighty one
at the Guildhall on and far the said City when a Verdict was
found for the said Thomas Langdale< no role > for the Sum of Eighteen
Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty Nine Pounds and Ten
Pence being the Amount of the Damages so by the said Thomas
Langdale sustained on the Account aforesaid And this
Deponent further saith that he got the Costs of the said Action
and suit taxed and settled by the proper Officer of the said Court
of Kings Bench at the Sum of Two Hundred and forty four
pounds Nineteen Shillings and Two Pence And this Deponent
further saith that he obtained and signed Final Judgment for
the said Thomas Langdale< no role > in the said Action on or about
the Twenty first of July One Thousand seven Hundred and
Eighty one Against the said Defendants for his the said
Thomas Langdale< no role > 's Damages and Costs making together the
Sum of Eighteen Thousand Nine Hundred and seventy four
pounds and which said Judgment now remains entered
up of record in the said Court And this Deponent further
