Street Silk manufacturer , John Grib< no role > of the Old Bailey
Piano Forte Maker, and John Cooper< no role > of Wyche Street
Pawnbroker taken before me this 30th. day of April
1785

Who on their [..] and first the said Christopher Drake< no role >
says that, on the 22nd. of [..] last he Sold to Longman & Broderip for the said John Grib< no role > ,
121 Yards of Green Parsian, rolled upon the Stick now produced,
marked 21999 - And further says he doth verily believe that
the 59 Yards & ½ of Persian now produced, is a Part thereof
And the said John Grib says that the Persian now produced he
believes to be his property, and was feloniously stolen in his House
in the Old Bailey on Thursday Evening last at which time
Edward Johnson< no role > now present was his Journeyman And the [..]
John Cooper< no role > says that the same Evening, the said Edward Johnson< no role >
brought the Persian now produced to this Informant's Shop in
Wyche Street , and offered to pledge it, when Informant stopped
him and the Persian also.
