WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate

his Wife
and
their two Children
namely
Benjamin< no role >
aged four Years and upwards
and
Mary< no role >
aged two Years and upwards are
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said William as otherwise do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said William
to be in the said Parish of Saint Bartholomew by the Exchange
in the said City of London
and that hitherto they ought by Law to be sent.
These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate

, forthwith to remove and convey the said William with
his Wife
and their said two Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Bartholomew by the Exchange
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this first Day of January One Thousand
