The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint Bartholomew
by the
Exchange in the said City
Sheweth
That by an Order or pass Warrant bearing date
the first day of January instant under the hands and
Seals of the Right Honourable

Mayor
of the City of London
and
John Boydell< no role >
Esquire
two of
his Majesties Justices of the Peace
in and for the said
City (One whereof being of the Quorum)
William
Stennell< no role >
with
Rachael< no role >
his Wife
and their two Children
namely
Benjamin< no role >
aged four years and upwards and
Mary< no role >
aged two years and upwards were removed from
the Parish of Saint Bottolph without Aldgate
in the
said City to the said parish of Saint Bartholomew
by
the Exchange as the place of their last legal Settlement
That your Petitioner
s apprehending themselves
aggrieved by the said Order or Pass Warrant humbly appeal
against the same
And therefore pray that you will be pleased to
order the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the parish of Saint Bottolph
without
Aldgate
aforesaid and all persons concerned to attend
this Court some day this present Session to hear
and abide the Judgement and determination of this
Court touching the premisses And that your Petitioner
may have such relief therein as to your Worships
shall seem meet
