To the Right Honourable
the Lord Mayor and to the Worshipfull his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London at the General Quarter Session of the
Peace assembled

The Humble Petition and appeal of the
Church wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Botolph without Bishopsgate in the said City
of London

Sheweth


That by an Order or Pass Warrant under the hands and
Seals of William Plomer< no role > and John Hart< no role > Esquires Aldermen of
the said City two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said
City (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the Twenty
second day of January last William Payn< no role > was removed and
conveyed from out of the Parish of Saint Ann in Black Friars
in the City of London t the Parish of St. Botolph without
Bishopsgate in the said City as the palace of the last legal
Settlement of the said William Payn< no role > whereby your Petitioner s
conceive themselves to be aggrieved

Your Petitioner s therefore humbly pray
your worships to appoint a Day in this
present Session to hear and determine their
said appeal
