WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London
and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Gabriel
in Fenchurch Street

was
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and is likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Thomas as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Thomas
to be in the said Parish of Chelveston
and that thitherto he ought by Law to be sent.

quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Gabriel
in Fenchurch Street

, forthwith to remove and convey the said Thomas with his
two children by Sarah his late Wife namely John aged Seven Years and upwards
and Thomas aged four years and upward
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Chelveston
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this twenty eighth Day of January One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Eighty four
