aforesaid severally make Oath and say; and first this
Deponent

saith that John Harris< no role >
having
been some time ago committed to Prison for stealing one pair
of Shoes the property of Giles Russell< no role >
the said Giles Russell< no role >
was bound
over by Recognizance to prosecute the said John Harris< no role >
for the said Theft at this Session. That the said Giles
Russellwasis as this Deponent has been informed
and verily believes a Material Witness
without whose
Evidence the prosecution of the prisoner could not
with Safety by proceeded in Andthatthis Deponent
farther saith that the said Giles Russell< no role >
has been
confined by Sickness to his house since the Commencement
of this Session. And the said William Watkinson< no role >
for
himself maketh oath and Saith that he has attended the said
Giles Russell< no role >
as an Apothecary
now since Monday the
thirteenth Instant and saith that the said Giles Russell< no role >
has from that day to the present time and now issince that day beenconfined to his house and
could not nor cannot withoutthedanger of loving his life attend
to prosecute and give evidence against the said
