To the Right. Honorable the Lord Mayor< no role > of the city of London
and the rest of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace for the said
city now in their General Quarter Sessions of the Peace assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Bridget otherwise
Brides in the City of London .

Sheweth


That Richard Humphries< no role > was by order or Pass Warrant
dated the 20th. day of August 1783 under the Hands and seals of the
Right Honorable Nathaniel Newnham< no role > Esquire Lord Mayor of the
City of London and Sir William Plomer< no role > Knight and Alderman of
the said City two of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace for the said
City and Liberties thereof one being of the Quorum removed and
conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Sepulchre London to
the said Parish of Saint Bridget otherwise Brides London aforesaid
as the Place of his last Legal Settlement.

Your Petitioners & Appellants
conceiving themselves aggrieved thereby
humbly appeal to the Judgment of this
Honorable Court against the same and
pray that this Honorable Court will be
pleased to hear and determine the said
Appeal And that all persons concerned
may abide the Judgment and Determination
thereof And that your Petitioners may be
relieved in the Premises as to this Honorable
Court shall seem meet.

And Your
Petitioners shall ever pray.
