That by Virtue of an order or pass Warrant

Clash Esqr. two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the said City bearing Date the twenty Second
say of the February one thousand seven hundred
and Eighty three Thomas Bye and
Elizabeth his< no role >

[..] having then lately come to reside in the
Parish of St. Giles Cripplegate
not having obtained say
legal Settlement there It was adjudged by the said
Majestys upon due saw of made before them that the
said Parish of St. Mary at Hill
was the place of the last
legal Settlement of the said Thomas to which parish
he and the said Elizabeth were accordingly removed
Your Petitioners conceiving themselves to the
greatly aggrieved by the said News or pass
Warrant humbly appeal to your Worships
& pray Relief in the Premisses and that a day
may be appointed for touching and determining
this Appeal.
