William Mears< no role > of Whitechapel Road in the
County of Middlesex Bell founder, Maketh Oath that
on or about five of the Clock in the Afternoon of the
fifteenth day of January Last and not before he
received a Summons to attend this honourable Court
as a Juryman at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon
of that day and Saith that the Reason why he did
not receive the said Summons in and due time was owing
to the same having been left for him at his foundry
in Gold Square Chrutched Fryars where this Deponent
is no Householder and hath not nor ever had any
Residence but merely a place for casting of Bells

That he lives and Resides and is a Housekeeper
in Whitechapel Road

in the Old Bailey 29th October 1783 }
