This Informant John Cosgrove Saith That on Twenty ninth
day of August last about Twelve O' Clock at noon he was
at a Public house called the Bell and Grenadier in
Montague Court Bishopsgate Street
London being a little
in Liquor Two man Sitting by him one on each side
of him, That being rather Sleepy he laid his head down
or the Table but not being quite a Sleep found some
person picking his Breeches pocket and on getting
up found that he had been robbed of Twenty three
Guineas in Gold and some Silver and that Martin Palmer< no role >

Prisoner
now under Examination [..] and one George Fielding< no role >
not yet taken were the persons then sitting by him
when he was robbed of his money as aforesaid

Saith on his Oath
Saith That on the Twenty ninth day of August last about
Twelve o' Clock at noon he was at the Bell and Grenadier
Public house in Montague [..] Court Bishopsgate Street
London
and there saw John Cosgrove< no role >
Martin Palmer< no role >
the
Prisoner
now under Examination and one George Fielding< no role >
sitting together in a Box in the Taproom and after they
had sat some time together Palmer Slipt under the table
and went by the side of Cosgrove by which means
Cosgrove was between Palmer and Fielding and
having soon afterwards been informed that the said
Cosgrove had been Robbed by the said Martin Palmer< no role >
and
George Fielding< no role >
, and seeing the said Martin Palmer< no role >
at a Public house in Twisters Alley Bunhill Row
in the
Parish of Saint Luke
, he sent for an Officer and
Caused him to be apprehended
