the
third day of September 1783

This Informant Thomas Lison Saith That on Monday last
about Six O' Clock in the afternoon he was Employed by Mr. Thomas
Henry Hall< no role >
of Mark Lane
London to carry a large Bundle
of Linnen and other things to Tottenham
in the County of
Middlesex
to the Dwelling house of this Informant in Order
that the same night be washed by this Informants wife
for the said Mr. Hall, and that on going along in the
High street
in the Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch
he
missed the said Bundle the same having been stolen from
out of his Cart.

That on Monday last a littel after Six O' Clock in the afternoon
He was looking out of his Window in the High street
in the
Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch
he saw Richard otherwise Thomas Davies< no role >
the Prisoner now under Examination take off a large
Bundle from off the Copse ofthea Cart and carry the same
away and that the Bundle now produced by Peter
Gardener
a Constable
is the same Bundle that was
taken out of the Cart by the said Richard otherwise Thomas Davies< no role >
