Wm. Moore< no role > & Margt.
his Wife , & their
five Children.

The Order of Removal under the Hands and Seals of two of his Majesty< no role > 's
Justices of the Peace for the said City of London , Dated the 16th. of December 1782
and made for the Removal of said William Moore< no role > and Wife, and their five
Children therein named, from said Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn to said
Township of Aston .

Case re-slated, as follows.

The said Pauper Wm. Moore was born in the Township of Aston juxta-
Budworth, in the Parish of Great Budworth in the County of Chester, (where
his Father resided for many years before, and till the Time of, his (Death)
and being thereby legally settled in Aston aforesaid, about the year 1760,
became an yearly hired Servant to Mr Squire, an Attorney in Furnivals
Inn London, with whom he lived under such hiring, about Eight years.
That the usual place of Mr Squire's residence was in Furnivals Inn : but
he used frequently to go to Bath for his Health, where the said Wm Moore< no role >
always accompanied him, and where his Stay on such Occasions was
sometimes for four or five Months together: He was always in Lodgings,
there, and generally in the South Parade in the Parish of St. James in Bath
and that during the latter part of the Eight years aforesaid, (that is to say,
during the last three years thereof) said Mr Squire resided rather more at
Bath than at Furnivals Inn ; and the last time the said William Moore< no role >
was at Bath with him, the said Mr Squire And severall Months in his
usual Lodgings in the South Parade . That the said William Moore< no role >
quitted said Mr. Squire's Service in May 1768 having resided with him
about four Months previous thereto in Furnivals Inn , that is to say, from
the preceding Christmas to said May. That Furnivals Inn is an Extra-
parochial place. That it is no Township or Vill within the meaning of the
Statute of 13 & 14, Car. 2d. and that no Removal ever has beencan bemade to it. And that
the said Wm Moore< no role > hath not done any act, whereby to gain a Subsequent
Settlement, either before he entered into, or since he quitted the Service of the said
Mr. Squire.
