Informants Apprentice, returned and reported, that he had seen a
Person at the House in Great Saint Helen's, whom he
took to be a Clerk, who told him the Bill was a good
Bill, and would be paid when it became due In
consequence of this, Informant made out a Bill of
Parcels in the Name of Mc Carty< no role > , whom the Prisoner
then declared himself to be, and gave him the gold
Watch he had selected out at the price of eighteen Guineas
and also cash to the Amount of eleven Pounds and
two Shillings, to make up the thirty Pounds Bath
Bark Bill aforesaid, delivered him by the Prisoner

And the said John Heather< no role > for
himself saith, that he hath seen the Prisoner write his
Name and that his Name is John Hovey< no role >

And the said William Stadden< no role >
Blake for himself saith, that he engraved the Plate
from which the Bill abovementioned is printed of
by the Order of John Hevey< no role > This name instance is in set 1776. the Prisoner at the
Bar, who paid him both for engraving and prarting
the Bills Says it was it or about the Month of
July last that he this Informant did this Bearings
for the Prisoner.
