Who being upon Oath says that in Consequence of an
Information they went on the 20th. day of July instant to a one pair
of Stain Room in Crown Court
near Doctors Commons
in the City
of LondonThat on entering the Room, they perceived a person now present
who calls himself Robert Folier< no role >
preparing and rubbing a Counterfeit
half Crown
and several other Counterfeit half Crowns lying by him on
the Corner of a little Table in the RoomThat said Folin had some
Scowering Paper, a piece of Cork and a pair of Nippers (with an half
Crown between them) in his hand which he instantly dropped on their
entering the RoomThat on the said Table were some Files and
some Aqua Fortes, and on their searching him, they found in his
Waistcoatpocket twenty shillings and one sixpence of counterfeit
Money now producedThat in a Drawer in the said Room they found
several false and counterfeit half Crowns Shillings and six pences
now produced not finished and that they do verily believe the said
Folier was preparing the said Halt Crowns for colouring.
