Cripplegate within [..] in London afsd: and that the sd. Jas Slanger< no role > Alexr. Anderson< no role > on the sd 21st: day of Decr: in the19th21st
year afsd: in the Court of Wardmote than holden for the sd Ward within
the same ward to wit in on the Parish ofChrist ChurchSt Christopher the Stockat the Church of the Parishafsd: was lawfully & in due Manner
Elected into the Office of one of the Wardmote Inquestmenoffor the afsd: Ward for
One year then Next following for enquiring of & presenting several Offences
Committed within the sd Ward for the Public good whereof the sd: Alex Anderson< no role > Ellis Needham< no role > Jas Slanger
afterwards to wit on the sd 21st: day of Decr. in the19th21st Year afsd. and often after at
the Parish afsd: in the Ward afsd. had Notice Nevertheless the said
Ellis Needham< no role > Jas Slanger< no role > Alex Anderson< no role > is no were Regarding his Duty in that behalf but Contriving &
intending as much as in him lay altogether to wit & put off the due Execution
of his sd Office on the sd 21st: day of December in the19th21st Year afsd: & continually
afterwards untill the day of the taking of this Inquisition at the Parish aforesd:
in the Ward afsd: in London afsd. the sd Office of one of the Wardmote Inquest men
afsd: un lawfully obstinately next & contemptuously did altogether neglect & refuse
and hath neglected & refuse and yet doth entriely neglect & refused to take upon
himself and execute against his said Duty To the bad Example of all others
in the like Case offending and against the Peace of our said Lord the King
his Crown and Dignity
