afsd: or his sd. Office in any manner to Execute Voluntarily obstinately
and Contemptuously hath altogether refused & denied & yet doth the fuse
and deny against his sd. Duty In Manifest Contempt of our said Lord
the King & his Laws To the bad Example of all others in the like Case
offending and against the Peace of our sd. Lord the King his Crown and
Dignity And the Jurors afsd: upon their Oath afsd: further present
that the sd. Alexander Anderson< no role > Ellis Needham< no role > on the sd 21st: day of Decr: in the17th21st
Year afsd: and long before and always after untill the Day of the
taking of this Inquisition was Inhabiting & Resiant paying Scot
and bearing Lot within the sd. Parish of SaintVedastChristopher the StockSaint Mary Magdalen< no role > in Milk Street in
the Ward ofCripplegate within Farrington within Broad Street afsd: and that within the Ward of
Cripplegate within Farrington withinafsd. there is and from the time where of the Memory
of Man is not to the Contrary there hath been a certain Court of out sd.
Lord the now King and his Predecessors called the Wardmote held & to be
held in every Yearsin andupon the Feast of St. Thos. the Apostle
(Unless the sd. Feast happened to be or fell on as Sunday and in such Case upon
the day then next Following the sd Feast before the Aldermen of the
Ward afsd: for the time being or his Deputy in which sd Court according
to the Custom within the sd Ward for all the time afsd: used & approved
within Brewers Hall in within the Church ofto wit in the sd said Parish of St. Christopher the StocksSaint Mary Aldermanbury Christ Church in
the Ward afsd: all the Men Inhabiting & Resiant Paying Scot Etc
