John Irwin< no role > Commander in chief in that Kingdom that the
Ship's Crew were all in a sickly state. (e'er we had orders
to sail from the Admiratty) sent his Doctors on Board
and upon such Examination I with many others were
sent ashore to sick Quarters and whilst we were ashore
the Commodore received Orders to Sail which he obeyed
Leaving me and the others sick on Shore I then Repaired
to this City to see my wife and Child

Now my Lord< no role > you have a true State of my Case
and from that Wisdom and humanily that have hitherto
illucidated your Character since you have filled a Judicial
Chair , I shall have the happiness of Escaping that Fate,
which my Enemies have most unjustly Intended for me

If any Doubt Arises in your Lordships Breast
relative to what is above Setforth I beg you will
Interrogate me and I shall give a further Account
