The joint and several Informations of George Skidden
of blue Hart Court Coleman Street Cordwainer , and
Richard Mound< no role > of London wall Cordwainer who being
Severally on Oath say as follows and first this Informant
George Skidden for himself saith, that on the twenty
second Day of June last past, about nine O'Clock in
the Morning, he this Informant locked the Door of
a Shop he had taken in Aldersgate Street , and left
therein Four pair of Mens Shoes and wooden lasts and three pair of
Soles for ShoesSays, that about seven O'Clock in
the Evening of the same day, he returned to his
Shop, and found the Door open, and the Lock
taken offSays, that upon looking into the Shop
he missed the said four pair of Shoes six lasts and three
pair of Soles, and suspected that they were stolen
by the Prisoner Patrick Mackoan< no role > , who was
then his Journeyman

Says, that on Tuesday last he
was going through White Rose Court , Coleman
Street, when he saw the Prisoner in conversation
with Richard Mound< no role > the other InformantSays
that he immediately charged him (with committing
the Felony and Prisoner said, that he had takenall
the
two pair of Shoes and the other things away, and was willing to make any
SatisfactionSays, that the Prisoner told him
the Lasts were in Fox Court, Grays Inn Lane
Informant and the Prisoner went together into
Fox Court and found six Lasts, which are now
Produced, and which he is certain are the same
that werelaststolen in his Shop in Aldersgate Street
aforesaidSays, that the Prisoner took him to
several Pawnbrokers where he said, that two pair
of Shoes were pawned, but Informant could
gain no Intelligence of them, as the Pawn brokers
denied receiving them.
