The Information of John Watkins< no role >
of Clements Lane, Clare Market , in the County
of Middlesex , Labourer , Who being on
Oath saith, that on Saturday last about Five
o'Clock in the Evening, he came with his
Cart and Mare into Bishopsgate Street , and
Left the same whilst he went to the King's
Arms Inn< no role > , Leadenhall Street , to deliver a
Hat BoxSays, that he was returning to
his Cart, and in Leadenhall Street , he
met Isaac Abrahams< no role > the Prisoner now under
Examination, holding the Rein and leading
the Mare and Cart towards,the PresonerAldgate
having a Whip in his other hand driving
the Mare alongSays, that the Cart
at that time contained a Quantity of Lasts
and Pattens of the Value of ten Pounds
Says, that before he came up to the Prisoner,
he called out "Halloo. What are you doing
with that Cart and Horse" upon which the
Prisoner let go the Rein, and run away
on being pursued he was apprehended and
Informant says, that he is certain the
Prisoner is the same Person who was
leading away his Mare and Cart in manner
aforesaid.
