Who, being on Oath, saith that
walking about three O'Clock this Morning near
Temple Bar

the prisoner now under
Examination laid hold of him by the Arm, and he
went up a Court with her, and when there she
put her Hand to his Breeches,
and he then
perceived her take his purse out of his pocket
which purse, contained seventeen Guineas in Gold
a Gold Ducat, one Shilling,
[..] one Silver Dollar
and eight pieces of foreign Silver Coin, that the
prisoner can away and to pursued her, and
took her near the Fishmonger

also under Examination was along with Jane
Johnson when he first saw her, but did not go up
into the Court with them, and that when said
Johnson ran from this Informant she pass'd Jones
in the Street, and when he had seized Johnson
Jones came up to him pulled him about and
said
ask'd what he wanted with that Woman meaning
Johnson
[..] and why he charged her with robbing
him, Informant cried out Watch and the Watch came
and then Johnson & Jones were both taken into Custody
and being taken to Saint Dunstan's Watch house
[..]
and Jones being first searched the money was all
found upon her as this Informant was told by the
Hourseman
