one thousand seven hundred and Seventy nightseverally entered into Recognizances in the Sum of Forty pounds Wch to Prosecute the said
Jacob Jonas< no role >

Stealing a Cheese the Property of this Deponent and George Hickes his then Partner this Deponent
intended to have prepared a Bill of Indictment and to have appeared at the next Sessions of Dyer
and Premises and Goal Delivery which were afterwards holden at Justice Hall in the Old Baily
in January Cost according to this Deponents Recognizance but this Deponent Sayth that the said
George Hickes this Deponents then Partner having the Management and

them carrying on upon the Account of this Deponent and the said George Hickes and the Persons
being in the Month of January very much out of Town this Deponent of the management of the said Prosecution
to the said Geo Hickes who this Depont. apprehended and Believed would have taken

that through the Deponent did not personally attend to prosecute the said

further Sayth that in the Month of July last a Commission of Bankrupt issued agt. this Dept. & his

and they were thereupon declared Bankrupts & that he this Deponent hath in all things confirmed himself
the Several Actules made and now inform conceiving Bankrupts and hath obtaine his Certified which
now his in the Office of the Secretary of Bankrupts for Allowance by the Right Honourable the Lord
High Chancellor of Great Britain And this Deponent
