Informations taken this 15th:
day of July 1779 at the Parish of
Saint Sepulchre in the Ward of
Farringdon without London on an
Inquisition taken On View of the
Body of Jams Procter< no role > these lying
dead.

Robert Thornber< no role > lodging at the House of Ezekiel
Roebottom known
< no role > by the Sign of the Articheke in the
Fleet market in the said parish one of the Beadles of
the said Parish or his Oath Saith that onMonday Morning
the 5th instant
Sunday Night the 4th. instant about
eleven o' Clock the desed was brought to the
Watchhouse in Saint Sepulchres Church Yard by
George Lister< no role > one of the Constables belonging to the
said Parish, as a Proper person to serve his Majesty
and the deced was thereupon conveyed up Stairs to the
confined Room, and Interession being made for his
Discharge he was let out, on Condition of his
asking Mr. Lister's Pardon, the deceased as Lister
alledged having ran against him in the Street but
or refusing so to do he was Ordered to be conveyed up
Stains again, Upon which this deced abused Lister
by giving him approbrious Language, on which Occasion
Lister Pushed him backwards with his right Hand
and the deceased fell our a Form to the Ground
upon his right Side, and he was immediately taken up
and carried up to the confined Room, says the deced
was intoxicated will Liquor when he first was brought
to this Watchhouse, that after continuing in the confined
Room aboat half an hour, the deceased was permitted
to go home, and he walked without any assistance
says that when the deced was pished down he cried
out for God sake don't murder me says he saw the
deced the following Monday, when the deceased
Said that Lister was a damned Rogue and had used
him very ill, but did not complain of any Blow or
that thereby, and Deponent ever saw the deced
