Washhouse

which sd. Lister and Bailey went away and about
half an Hour afterwards 4th. Lister Bailey returned
to the Watch house with the deced. immediatly or
which words passed between the deced and George
Lister and Lister thereupon desired the Constable
for the night to put the deced up stairs which was
done by Robt. Thornber< no role >

, when a short time afterwds. Dept. mention
ing that the deced having a Wife and 4 Children it
wod. occasion distressing the deced is Family if he was
kept in Confinemt. and Lister presently afterwds. going
away, the deced was told he was at liberty and might
go away immediatly on which the deced came down
Stairs and said non in the Watch house soon after
which Mr. Lister & Mr. Bailey came again to the
Watch houses where Dept. being seated near the
Watchhouse

Lister to protect himself pushed the deced with his
right hand which occasioned the deced to fall over
a Four upon the Floors immediatly in which the
deced cryed out for Christis who do not murder me
that soon afterwds. Lister went home, and the deced abt.
half an Hour after two of the Monday likewise went home
after having Partakenwith otherof half a Gallon of
strong Bier witt Thornber, Martin and Robinson.
